Game Changer and Sankrantiki Vasthunnam have been produced by same producers and released for same festival period. The SV makers have been open about their collections and reporting them continuously. Game Changer team stopped after facing fake allegations and they have accepted that fact people did not receive the film. 

Anil Ravipudi at Sankrantiki Vasthunnam press event stated that he wanted to showcase the collections on posters so that the people would understand even family entertainers can do big numbers. The comments are gaining attention as his words seem to have been targeted at box office experts. 

Many tried to undermine his film against Game Changer even there are inside reports about producers asking him to not expect too much in collections as Game Changer will be too huge. Now, the official numbers of Game Changer are far below Sankrantiki Vasthunnam say experts. 

Even producer Shirish stated that when they fell in a well or abyss, Sankrantiki Vasthunnam saved them. So, it does look like Anil is giving it back to those naysayers and people who underestimated his film in comparison with big budget Pan-India films.
