The big storm that is unsettling Tamil industry at the moment is Beep song sung by Simbhu, regarding which police want to arrest the actor and the actor expressed his desire meet police soon. Coming to the song, what's this commotion really about?

Actually a song was composed by Anirudh and sung by Simbu which has cuss words as lyrics. The song asks everyone to not fall in love with a girl as girls will make men happy. Instead, the lyrics advise men to go for one-night stands. While cuss words are used, all those words are actually covered up with a beep. Still, Tamilnadu women associations and cyber crime cell are asking government to take stern action against Simbu because the song insults women.

In movies, we see lots of incidents where women are portrayed as sex objects and its a wonder that all these associations are not protesting against such portrayals. "When a convict of Nirbhaya rape could walk free, people want to jail me", said Simbhu, in connection with this.
