Bollywood has been facing a crisis with the lack of original ideas and over dependence on South Indian movies. Now, another remake is coming on its way with Baby John. The movie starring Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi in leading roles is presented by Atlee and he seems to be taking his typical style to Bollywood. 

The movie team released a teaser and it looks like a simple Theri rehash. Atlee seems to believe that the Theri story is his best and he has given his assistant Khalees, the opportunity to direct this mega bollywood actioner. The teaser showcases exquisite sets and visual grandeur but offers nothing new. 

Thaman's background score is as loud as it gets and on the whole, the teaser just looks like a rehash of many commercial blockbusters. Even Theri gave same feeling and this being Theri rehash is also another uninteresting element for audiences. Jackie Shroff looked better but Keerthy Suresh did not leave any impression. 

Priya Atlee, Murad Khetani and Jyoti Deshpande produced the film and let's see if the magic works again as it did for Jawan. Movie is releasing on 25th December 2024  for Christmas holiday season.
