As they grow older, love sprouts between them. Nandini's father cannot accept his daughter loving a poor guy. He tries to get her married for another rich man's son. Nandini ends up her life. Raju also ends up his life.
Analysis :
Rajiv, son of music director is debuting, as hero in this film and falls flat right from the first frame. He is not talented and if learns to act and give expressions maybe he will get some chances, otherwise it would be very difficult for this youngster… Maybe he is looking for career as a musician and not as an actor. His heroine, who is also acting for the first, is a Telugu girl. Looks good and is much better than her hero. She is showing some promises to perform, but has to put in lots of effort if she is serious about her career. All the other actors too are new comers, and the hero’s friends seem to have done better! Though the music is not new to your ears, the music director has done his part of copying old and Tamil tunes sincerely for which we have to appreciate him… otherwise nothing. But the climax song is the best one and stands out in particular. Except for cameraman Jayaram, no one is identified in the film because they have not contributed anything to the film. Chandu has taken a old story and has canned in a very old fashion, which leaves us with the question that is the film for today’s youth?TeluguOne Perspective :
The director reveals about the tragic ending of the love in the beginning of the movie, so there is no real suspense. In this age and time such stories really do not go down well with the public. Suicide sends a wrong signal to the public, especially the young ones who are not matured enough to decide between right and wrong. We have always strongly condemned movies that are based on life negating and suicidal scenes. Life is too precious to be taken away for love and other trivial reasons. There is no glory in suicide, whatever being the reason. Suicide is an act of cowardice. Try to live happily. Celebrate life. Avoid such dark and pessimistic movies. Do not watch Notebook. Wait for the release of the next good movie.
