Venkateshwarulu's grandmother (Annapurna) makes him promise that he will marry two women and this turns into an obsession with him. He finally finds a girl, Indu, who he falls in love with and she reluctantly agrees, but did she really agree? The girl in fact, has a plan of her own to make him understand how bad such an arrangement is. After he marries her and before he ties the knot with the other girl (who agrees to be his second wife for a sum of money), Indu's first husband (Srikanth) turns up. The story unfolds and finally, oh well, don't we all know what happens, and frankly, who cares?
Analysis :
Venu looks like he'd rather not be there. The heroine (Gowri Munjal) is average, but what more can one do with such a role? Brahmanandam, the veteran comedian, should choose his roles more carefully. Why such a degrading character? All his feeble attempts at comedy are gone to waste. Jhansi as his wife does her bit. Srikanth tries to infuse some life into the show, but unfortunately, the story doesn't allow any of that.
TeluguOne Perspective :
This movie makes a joke of many things that are supposed to be revered and respected-marriage, law, police, men, women, love, culture.. the list goes on. What prompted Suresh Productions to give the nod for this script is obvious-low budget, a liberal dose of skin show and apparent comedy. If it runs, well and good; if it doesn't, well, tough luck. This will run in B and C centres for a while. Whatever you do, just keep the kids away.
