What events follow and how events take strange turns forms the rest of the story.
Analysis :
Director Devakatta, appreciated for his debut film Vennela, a sensible love story, took a political subject with family backdrop. He handles the theme well. The character, Lokanatham, depicts basic human psychology. In his attempt to hide the truth, and the extremes he goes in saving his son brings out his animalistic tendencies. Prasthanam in English means "journey made to achieve a goal", and the director succeeds in his Prasthanam. The second part of the film is more intriguing.
TeluguOne Perspective :
Sarvanand gave excellent performance as the youth leader. He emoted well and did justice to his role. Sandeep as the drug addict impresses with his acting talent. Sai Kumar proves his performance as the seasoned politician, protective father and rules the story as the central character. Jayaprakash Reddy's role entertains as Bangaru Naidu. Other actors too did justice to their roles. Few songs that are tuned are well scored and meaningful. Re-recording is excellent. Cinematographer Shyam Dutt gave neat cinematography. Direction:- Dev Katta must be appreciated for his skillful handling of the tough subjt like politics. This film is sure to entertain the youth.
