Turai 65

 

 

Ingredients:

* Turai( ridge gourd) 1/4 kg

* All purpose flour 100 GRS

* Corn flour 4 tablespoons

* Ginger garlic paste 1 teaspoon

* Chilli sauce 1 teaspoon

* Soya sauce 1 Teaspoon

* Green chillis 3-4

* Food colour ( if required) Or turmeric  powder

* Salt & oil as required

Method:

* Wash ridge gourd thoroughly and peel the skin then cut in to thin pieces about 1.5 inches each.

* In a bowl, mix all purpose flour, corn flour, ginger garlic paste, chilli sauce, little bit of soya sauce, salt and food colour or turmeric powder and prepare a batter with nice consistency.

 

*Heat oil in a deep pan. Now take each piece of ridge guard, dip in the batter and fry them deeply. Continue doing this with all the vegetable pieces and keep these fried ones aside.

 

* Now in a pan, take 1 tablespoon oil and heat the pan, go on adding sliced green chillis, sliced  garlic , curry leaves and soya sauce left.

Finally add the fried ridge guard pieces to this mix...Your Turai 65 is ready to serve..
