The Movie Artists Association Elections are taking ugly shape like any political elections as the two contestants Rajendra Prasad and Jayasudha start criticizing each other like any politicians. Jayasudha triggers this fight accusing Rajendra Prasad for bringing in the politicians into the elections. She complains that some political persons are pressurizing her to quit from the contest. Rajendra Prasad hits back at her directly and very strongly.
He said “Before blaming me for politicizing these elections, she should admit that she is politician and a MP is supporting her now. I don’t need to politicize the elections, because I have full support of the industry. I think anyone who wants to contest the elections should have interest to serve the film industry and not medals or horns. I am contesting the elections only to serve the industry that gives me this name and fame. Many people in the film industry have encouraged me to contest the elections hoping that I would bring some change and improvement in the situation of the industry. Hence, I will not turn my back even if my opponents pressurize me to quit the elections. But, I have a great respect for all the members in both panels.”
“I am determined to contest the elections, but feel very sad to face my near and dear in my opposition side. I do feel my situation is resembling Arjuna in Kurukshetra, who fought with his near and dear.” Rajendra Prasad also hits at MP Murali Mohan. He said “Some people in the film industry might have earned plenty of money doing real estate businesses, but they should realize that no one can take anything with them when dies. I am sure my place is reserved in the heaven because I made the people happy with my films.”
