Telugu professor set Guinness Record in Psychology

A Mahabubnagar based Counselling Psychologist, Mr.Srinivasa Chary Vangeepuram has set a new Guinness World Record by teaching 1,436 participants the “Largest Psychology Lesson”. With this, he secured all the required eligibility to be the first Guinness Record holder in the entire world in the field of Psychology. Srinivasa Chary has chosen the Teachers’ Day the 5th September for setting this Guinness Record. Triple Guinness World Record holder, Dr.V.Sreenathachary organized this event at 10.01 AM at JMJ Fatima Vidyalayam, Mahabubnagar. He said that there is no existing record in the said field and Mr.Srinivasa Chary has set the initial record under the ‘Set a Record’ category.

Mr.Srinivasa Chary has a social objective behind achieving this record. He has five-point objective with him. He would wish to request all to focus constructive and result-oriented attention on five cardinal social issues that should be amended at once. Firstly, the age old Indian family tradition should be restored to its past glory. Secondly, our present day educational system should be made more meaningful. For this, services of teachers, experts in the field of psychology, trainers and journalists must be utilized at all levels. Thirdly, health care must be given proper importance.

Fourthly, we must give utmost respect to women, children and senior citizens and express exemplary service attitude towards them. Fifthly, all citizens of our country irrespective of any discrimination must prove their professionalism and strive for our nation’s development and world peace.

He opted for the ‘Teachers Day’ for his feat since he wishes to carry his mission for social and educational renaissance. Dr. V. Sreenatha Chary, read out all guidelines and instructions of the Guinness authorities. Only those who submitted written statements of attendance were allowed to witness the feat. However, 250 participants were announced disqualified from the feat by the judges.
