Domakonda fort in Nizamabad district of AP suddenly shot into limelight with the engagement function of megastar turned politician Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan and Upasana Kamineni taking place in the fort on 1 December.
Domakonda Gadi Samsthan rulers are Kamineni family and Upasana is the daughter of Domakonda Samsthan current heir Anil Kamineni and Sobha Reddy.
Upasana also happens to be the granddaughter of Apollo Hospital’s Prathap Reddy through her mother Shobha Reddy.
Recently a tunnel was discovered in the fort. Locals tell that they also have heard about another tunnel in the fort which leads to a neighbouring village 12-13 kms away. But that tunnel has not been unearthed so far.
