A massive earthquake of 7.0 magnitude hits China on Saturday morning around 8am leaving 72 people dead and more than 600 people injured. The quake hits the southwestern province state Sichuan bringing huge buildings to debris. According to unconfirmed reports hundreds of people feared dead and huge property loss in this quake. The epicenter of the quake lies 12km beneath the ground level. The quake spreads towards Chendgu, Gansu, Shaanxi, Yunnan areas and Chongqing city, where around 30 million people are living. In wake of previous bitter experiences, 2000 soldiers and several teams pressed into rescue operations immediately. According to reports the tremors occurred for times in few minutes duration.
