Bal Thackeray Dead body: Bal Thackeray, the founder and commander in chief of the Shiv Sena, is no more. The 86-year-old who was battling for life for nearly a week, was declared dead on Saturday afternoon at 3:33 pm. The city of Mumbai has virtually shut down. The funeral procession will begin at 9 am on Sunday.
