BACs to decide the T-Bill fate

Speaker Nadendla Manohar, who prefers to follow the rule-book, seems somehow missed to see some of the pages, while introducing the T-bill into house. Yesterday, he not only introduced the T-bill into Assembly, but also allowed the members to begin a debate on the bill in the absence of CM Kiran Kumar Reddy.

Although, the members representing Telangana applauds his decision, rest of the members have sharply criticized him for ignoring the rules and regulations. Hence, both the houses were adjourned today to enable the Business Advisory Committees of State Assembly and State Legislative Counsel hold meetings and decide the course of the T-bill in both houses. First, the LC-BAC will meet and then the State Assembly-BAC will have a meeting. Both the houses can start a debate only after the BAC’s decide the course of the T-Bill.

Since, there are equal numbers of members representing both regions in each BAC, a deadlock is likely over the T-bill course. If, so it may trigger the tensions among the members, who already are crossing swords with their colleagues in both houses. CM Kiran Kumar Reddy and his followers are said to be insisting for voting on each and every article of the T-bill.
