Girls dominated the results of the Intermediate First year examinations by attaining 58.32 pass percentage as against 49.73 per cent by the boys. The total pass percentage is 53.75 as per the results announced by the Minister Mr Parthasaradhi in Hyderabad.

The Krishna district stood first by attaining a pass percentage of 71 while the Mahbubnagar stood last with 37 per cent. The minister said the supplementary examinations will be held in May and june.
