Nitish invites PM Modi to his swearing-in-ceremony

Nitish Kumar, who is swearing-in as Bihar’s Chief Minister, phoned Prime Minister Narendra Modi and invited him to the function to be held at Gandhi Maidhan in Patna on November 20th. He also invited home minister Rajnath Singh, finance minister Arun Jaitley and external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj to the function.

However, state BJP vice-president Sanjay Mayukh told the media that they may not be able to attend the function but union minister M Venkaiah Naidu and Minister of State (Independent Charge) Rajiv Pratap Rudy would attend the function on behalf of Centre.

Nitish Kumar also invited Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, West Bengal CM Mamata Benarji, Uttar Pradesh CM Akhilesh Yadav, Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Vice-president Rahul Gandhi, BJP leader Shatrughan Sinha and many others to this function. All of them except Sonia Gandhi may grace the function.

However, no hint was given so far about who are going to take oath along with Chief Minister designate Nitish Kumar on November 20th. According to sources Lalu Prasad Yadav’s daughter Misa Bharti may be given Deputy Chief Minister Post and a minister post to one of his two sons, who were elected as MLAs during recent elections.
