Here are the details of bypolls being held for 18 assembly seats and one lok sabha seat in Andhra Pradesh on 12 June 2012. These byelections have been caused because of the disqualification and resignations of MLAs and 1 MP from these costituencies.

The MP and MLAs, who originally belong to Congress party have opted to shift their loyalties to newly found YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's YSR Congress Party. Some of them, who voted in favour of the no confidence motion against the government moved by Telugu Desam Party were disqualified, while few others resigned and joined Jagan's party. The counting of votes will take place on 15 June and all results are expected to be released by evening on the same day.
