An American woman driving her car very fast down Paris boulevards was stopped by a policeman.
“Stop”, he cried and demanded what she meant by driving so rashly.
Thinking fast, the lady explained that she was pursuing her husband and another woman, who were in the car ahead.
The policeman stepped aside.
“after them Madam, after them!” he said gallantly, waving her on.
