For any given big ticket entertainer, the first Monday that comes is the crucial thing. Because collections will drop to 50% almost for star heroes' films too on this Monday. However, for Gunasekhar's "Rudhramadevi" it is going to be a 'golden' Monday.

In the first weekend, Gunasekhar's "Rudhramadevi" minted 19.5+ crores "share" in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana alone. Looking at these figures, anyone would predict some steep fall from Monday but that's not the case. Much to Guna's expectations, holiday season starts in AP, Telangana and Karnataka from today onwards. Already family audiences are rushing to theatres despite critics giving mixed opinions on the movie. And now that "Monday" is a holiday, and the holidays will continue till 22nd in AP and 25th in Telangana, it's a blessing in disguise for Gunasekhar.
