I've Not Approached Mahesh Babu

Prominent director Gunasekhar has now revealed yet another important. In fact, when it comes to "Rudhramadevi", there are two big news always. One is about the financial troubles and the second one is about top heroes rejected to play the role of Gona Ganna Reddy in the film.

Like we said earlier, as Jr NTR asked Gunasekhar to come up with a full pledged script that revolves around Gona Ganna Reddy, our director never approached him again. Talking further, he said, "I've not even approached Mahesh Babu or Jr NTR or Raviteja to play the role of Gona Ganna Reddy. One day Allu Arjun called me on phone saying that he's interested to play Gona role if I've no objections. Though I've given him flop, it's his love for cinema and history that made him accept the role. So I invited him with a open heart, for which he didn't even took remuneration".

That's one nice thing to hear about Allu Arjun, and also it clears the rumours that Mahesh Babu has rejected the role.
