Exclusive: Kick 2 Releasing In 5 Cr Deficit

Mass Raja Raviteja’s most awaited movie “Kick 2”, directed by Surender Reddy is hitting screens tomorrow. In fact, the delay in post-production of the film has costed producer Kalyan Ram a bomb. We hear that that budget has actually touched 43 crores and so far Raviteja’s recovery from Box office hasn’t touched that mark.

So far Kick 2 has recovered 37+ crores from selling of theatrical and satellite distribution rights. Pre-release business of the film has touched nearly 24.4 crores from two Telugu states, while in made a little from Karnataka, Tamilnadu and overseas (2.25 crores), which totalled to 30.25 crores.

This is regarding theatrical rights and satellite rights got sold to 7.2 crores, while audio fetched 30 lakhs. All in all the business got closed at 37 crores, leaving Kalyan Ram in 5 crore deficit. We have to see how the film fares at box office.
