Baahubali 2 Makes A Killing At BO

No Republic Day... No Eid... No Independence Day... No Diwali... No Christmas... Baahubali 2 creates magic at the Box Office on non-holiday. The film has shattered all existing day one records and creates history. The SS Rajamouli directed film opened bigger than Salman Khan's Sultan (36.54 cr) and Aamir Khan's Dangal (29.78 cr). As per tradec analysts, Baahubali 2 collected around Rs 40 crores alone for Hindi version. It is heard that, the film minted around Rs 180 crores worldwide, which is highest ever for an Indian film.

Baahubali 2 got off to a very strong start at the North American box office pulling in approx. 2.26 M from all languages from 378 locations. This is by far one of the biggest Indian film releases within this territory with 450 North American theatres screening the film of which 45 or so will be showing the film in IMAX and about 50 will show the film on large format screens.

The weekend estimate collections of Baahubali 2 in the North American circuit are currently estimated to be around 9.5 mil. USD [Rs. 61.06 cr.] from 425 theatres.
