Police complaint on John Abraham for smoking

John Abraham and Varun Dhawan's latest movie 'Dishoom' is doing quite well at the box office. But it has also landed John in trouble. An NGO working against tobacco consumption is planning to file a police complaint against the actor for smoking in the film. A senior office-bearer of the National Organisation for Tobacco Eradication (NOTE) said that they will write to actor John Abraham asking for the withdrawal of his just-released film, Dishoom, in which he is seen smoking a cigarette.
Also that they will lodge a formal police complaint against the actor, producer and director if their demand is not met. The NGO's general secretary Shekhar Salkar confirmed the news, saying, "The poster showing Abraham smoking a cigarette promotes the use of tobacco. This is against the law. The poster should be immediately withdrawn." during the weekend, Dishoom made Rs 11.05 cr on Friday, Rs 12.02 crore on Saturday and Rs 14.25 crore on Sunday. The film stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Nargis Fakhri and has been shot largely in Abu Dhabi. Rohit Dhawan directed the movie.
