Malaysia Giving Royal Title To Rajnikanth

Superstar Rajinikanth has a mammoth fan following in Malaysia too. Recently when he stepped there for Kabali shooting, no one missed the chance to meet him, from politicians to industrialists.
Governor of Malacca state in Malaysia, Mohammad Khalil Yaakob, who is a big fan of Rajinikanth also met the Superstar. Sources reveal that the governor has made a request to honour Rajinikanth with the prestigious title ‘Datuk’ (equivalent to British Knighthood) and Malaysia government approved it. A huge event is being planned Rajini will be conferred with the royal Malaysian title.
Bollywood’s Shah Rukh Khan was the first Indian star to be conferred with the ‘Datuk’ title, and international star Jackie Chan also received the honour. And next, it will be 'Datuk' Rajnikanth.
