Swetha is a student of 7th Standard. Her father Raghava is an attendant at the office of the Collector. Raghava wants to see Swetha as a collector. Though she is intelligent and hard working, Raghava pressures her more. Swetha is quallyinterested in music. Swetha also has a brother, Teja.In the same colony lives Sekhar Kiran (son of Mangalam), Harbhajan (son of Rekha Singh), Swathi, Nikhil (children of Chakravarthi, Saroja) and Harsha (son of music teacher Saraswati). Harsha is interested in paintings. Saraswati encourages him in that aspect.Because of the immense pressure from her father, Swetha falls sick and could not write the exams. Raghava punishes her severely. She is admitted into the hospital. This issue gets into the notice of the collector. Raghava realizes hismistake and treats her dearly from then on. Swetha gets to join music too. Finally, Swetha gets the distinction and is declared as the number one student.

Srahisha, who did the title role of Swathi, delivered a fine performance. NN Srinivas, who is the student of Jandyala,did a decent job. Though at times, the film goes at a slow pace, overall the work is good. This film surely delivers the message and will stand thought provoking to the parents who rub their interests onto the children. Ahuti Prasad played the role of Raghava and he did the role to content.
