Recently Dil Raju produced Maro Charitra remake, but the film was a disaster. Not bothering, movie mogul Rama Naidu is interest to remake Ramudu Bheemudu with Jr. NTR and Naga Chaitanya. But boy, it takes a lot to replicate Sr.NTR and there’s lot at stake.
Similarly, yesteryear hero Krishnam Raju is planning to remake Bhakta Kannappa with Young Rebel Star Prabhas to be directed by Bapu under Gopi Krishna Movies banner. In line is also Natasimha Nandamuri Balakrishna, who already launched the project Sri Rama Rajyam, a remake of yesteryear classic Lava-Kusa, directed by Bapu and produced by Yelamanchili Sai baba.
Also, few Tollywood producers are planning to remake yesteryear blockbuster Gundamma Katha with Jr. NTR and Naga Chaitanya. All these sign show that even young Tollywood heroes relish doing mythological movies.
