Bangkok is the one place that got popularised by Tollywood folks for story-sittings, songs and other relaxing acts. First it is director EVV Satyanarayana who made Thailand popular as a song shooting destination. This craze has shot up with Puri Jagan making the film as his second home.
But now a days when any celebrity says that he’s Bangkok bound, audiences are thinking that these guys are enjoying in the South-asian city at spas, massages and beaches. Provided with the fact that this country has an open sex-trade law, imagination of people regarding Bangkok touring celebs is negative. For that reason, Tollywood is on the lookout for a new place.
We hear that Sri Lanka is the new found destination of Telugu film fraternity for its serene locales, tranquillity and soft-spoken hosts. Earlier writer Kona Venkat and gang left to this place to pen Charan’s movie and now actress Sanjana has also picked this country as her vacation destination. More celebs might follow suit.
