Raising the unemployment debate yet again, 5 MPhil and 984 graduates have applied for 5 job positions to become a coolie or a porter in Maharashtra. The position infact requires one to be just a fourth standard pass.

While speaking about it Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) Secretary Rajendra Mangrulkar said, "We have received applications from 2,424 candidates for the five 'hamal' posts. They include 5 MPhil holder, 9 PG diploma holders, 109 diploma holders and 253 with PG degree".
