Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) state co-ordinator Pittala Ravinder said that 'Telangana Dandora' programs will be held in the villages in Telangana region from 1st January 2012.
Speaking at the district JAC meeting in Indur, Nizamabad, Pittala Ravinder told that the 42-day Sakala Janula Samme or the general strike by the TJAC had left an indelible mark on the psyche of the people. It not only carried the Telangana sentiment to every nook and corner of the region, but also made the whole world aware of it. People from all walks of life have welcomed the strike and supported it.
Alleging that the Congress party is playing a new drama to delay creation of T-state, Ravinder said that now it is clear that nothing positive will happen till 2014 elections. He asserted that people should continue to exert pressure on the governments, both at the Center and the State to concede to the separate state demand. "Separate Telangana can be achieved only by escalating our fight against the Seemandhra forces," he said.
