Cong MP Madhu Yashki Warns Center on T-issue

Congress MP from Telangana region Madhu Yashki Goud today (18-11-11) said that all public representatives are ready to quit again and fight for the cause of Telangana if the Government’s decision comes against the formation of Telangana state.

Addressing a press meet in Hyderabad, the MP said that it has been falsely publicised that the MPs from Telangana have struck a deal with the Center and are not serious about their resignations. He said that it was not true, the people's representatives from Telangana are committed to formation of a separate state and would sacrifice anything that is required to achieve it. Mr. Yashki told that they have already discussed with TRS chief KCR the issue of agitating for Telangana on a common platform keeping aside party flags and affiliations.

Asserting they would not tolerate postponement of a decision on T state any more, he said they would carry out their fight for Telangana in the winter session of Parliament. He also condemned the criticism being leveled on the rejection of their resignations. He said that the Lok Sabha Speaker Ms. Meira Kumar has clearly mentioned the reason for not accepting the resignations. She said that the resignations were not in accordance with rule 248 that denotes them as resignations submitted without under any kind of pressure.
