Telangana MLAs Taken For a Ride

Yesterday's Kiran Kumar Reddy cabinet expansion has proved that the Telangana MLAs were taken for a ride by the high command, feel the t-region legislators. Many legislators were in line for the two posts vacated by Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and Jupally Krishna Rao. But the posts went to PRP legislators.

Speaking to the media, Congress MLA from Telangana region Gandra Venkata ramana Reddy said that the Telangana leaders were not unhappy with the recent cabinet expansion. He said that induction of more ministers from the region would ensure that the Telangana would get sufficient funds from all the departments. Although the Telangana MLAs were in favour of statehood for the region, they could not ignore the importance of developmental activity in the region which could happen by maintaining the regional-balance in the State cabinet.

However, in Congress circles it is still publicised that there would be another expansion shortly to accommodate the legislators from Telangana also.
