The present Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Miss. Jayalalitha has declared her assets before the election commission. Her declaration gives a peek into her massive wealth and hides the assets that were seized by the courts. The total assets declared by Jayalalitha stands at just 113.73 crores! This includes a farm land in Hyderabad worth 14.44 crores. Her declaration also includes the mention of shares and golden ornaments seized by courts. It was aware that Jayalalitha was facing cases of corruption and tax evasion.
Gold weighing 21.280 kg and numerous shares were held by the courts that could worth crores together. “As the possession is not with me, the value could not be ascertained,” stated Jaya regarding those assets. She has been contesting from the R.K.Nagar in the present elections being held for Tamil Nadu Assembly. It’s interesting to note that the Assets declared by DMK supremo Karunanidhi is almost 10% of his opponents. His assets are worth just 13.92 crores.
