Father kills 6yrs daughter for mistake in counting

In a gruesome incident a six-year-old girl was reportedly choked to death by her father who became extremely angry over her inability to count numbers. This incident took place on July 9 at a village 250 km from Aurangabad, when Sanjay Kute was checking his 6 year old daughter Bharti's homework and at one point when she couldn't count numbers, the angry father beat her up badly and then forced her to swallow an onion as punishment.

The police said, "Bharti recited numerals from 1 to 12, but stumbled thereafter, which enraged Raju. He was so livid that he took an onion and stuffed it in her throat, following which she choked to death". He then quietly buried his daughter's body near a crematorium near his place without anyone knowing about it in a bid to escape from the crime. But finally his wife who witnessed the incident with her son, mustered the courage to alert the police about this inhuman behaviour and lodge a case against her husband who had now been caught by the police.
