Home Minister Sabita Indra Reddy all of a sudden has come into media focus for her name appearing in CBI charge sheet. As predicted her cabinet colleagues have come to her support and asked her she need not to resign now because she is not guilty anyway. She said she is keen to resign as it is unethical to continue in the post, while facing allegations. However, she has decided to follow the instructions of the party high command rather than taking her own decision in this regard.

She said “I am very much upset to see the CBI filing charge sheet against me for not my mistake. I promise that I have not violated any rules and regulations and just followed whatever decisions taken in the cabinet meeting and instructions given by the then CM late YS Rajashekar Reddy. I am not accountable to the stories that run behind the screen. I have not benefited out of any orders issued by me. My family has always maintains high moral values and I also follow the same through out my lie. Hence, I am not afraid of these false allegations. I will fight it out in the courts. I am confident that I will come clean in the courts,” said Sabita.

According to latest reports, PCC Chief Botsa Satyanarayana is leaving for New Delhi to discuss this issue with party high command. However, final decision will be taken only after Sonia Gandhi returns to India.
