Jr. Doctors have no right to go on strike: HC

Soon after Telangana CM KCR has asked the officials to debar the agitating Jr. Doctors for six months if they fails to join duties before tomorrow evening, they knocks the High Court doors just only to hear that they have no right to go on strike. The High Court categorically told them that they have no right to go on strike because they are neither employees nor workers in any industry. The High Court also warns them of taking serious action if they continue their strike any further.

They have been agitating opposing state government’s decision of making it mandatory to serve in the villages for at least one year during their medical course. However, government didn’t succumb to their pressures, instead prepared to debar them all for six months. CM KCR has asked the officials to intimate their parents about state government’s decision and ensure all of they join duties by tomorrow evening.

So, they have only two options. One is to join duties immediately and other one is to knock Supreme Court doors challenging High Court and state government’s decisions. They may choose the first option.
