Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport had a major security lapse. 24 kg of gold lodged there by the customs department has disappeared over time. During the regular inventory checks by the inspectors this has come to light. The estimated to be worth is over Rs 7 crore. In June last year, the customs officials reported to the police that 11 kg of gold went missing, which back then was valued at Rs 2.92 crore.
