The counting of votes polled in the GHMC elections has started…. 

-  More than 5000 staff were assigned with the counting process.

- The much awaited counting has started off by 3.00 pm this afternoon at 24 counting centres.

- Though the counting was scheduled to start by this morning, the re polling at Purana pul has delayed the schedule.

- The fate of 1333 contestants from 150 wards would be concluded by this evening.

- The counting process would start with the counting of postal ballets and then the EVM’s would be opened.

- More than 33 lakh voters have casted their vote in the GHMC elections. But that’s just 45% of the total number of voters in Greater Hyderabad.

- Section 144 would be implemented at the counting centres to ensure security.

- Results of counting would start pouring in after 5’ o clock this evening.

- The results of all 150 wards might be declared by 8:00 PM this night.
