After the United States, UK, Canada, now  France has come out in support for India's NSG membership. It has strongly backed India's membership bid for the Nuclear Suppliers Group and has asked member nations to take a "positive decision". In an official statement the French foreign ministry said, "In line with its active and long-standing support to India's entry to the NSG as a full-fledged member, France calls on its members, who are meeting on 23 June in Seoul, to take a positive decision''.
