AP Intelligence officials fail to alert the CM about phone tapping?

According to reports, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has fired the state Intelligence Chief, AR Anuradha, for failing to notice the phone tapings by the Telangana government. She also attends the cabinet meeting yesterday along with state DGP JV Ramudu and few others.

She reportedly told the Chief Minister that Telangana police have imported latest phone tapping equipment that were not allowed in the country. Telangana Police may be hearing and recording the phone conversations of the AP Chief Minister and other ministers using that latest equipment. It can be found if the Central government orders for an investigation.

If the report about her explanation is believed to be genuine, obviously one would ask then why she fails to alert the Chief Minister and others about it in-time, that could prevent all this mess. However, there is no official confirmation about her explanation to the Chief Minister on this matter. So, if the AP government takes any serious action against her, it would be acknowledging that whatever reported by the media about her explanation is genuine and thus tapping of Chief Minister and others phones is also true.
