AP Assembly Budget Session: Adjourned on Day 3 Also

Amid pandemonium, Speaker Nadendla Manohar adjourned the assembly for tomorrow consecutively on the day 3 also. The unrelenting oppososition members stormed the speaker's podium and raised slogans in protest of disallowing adjournment motions put forth by them. While TDP members demanded a discussion on the liquor syndicates and demanded dismissal of ministers involved in liquor syndicate business, TRS demanded for the assembly resolution for creation of a separate Telangana.

First the House was adjourned for half an hour by the speaker. When the House reassembled, opposition members again persisted on putting forth adjournment motions, which the speaker rejected as per the rule. Even Minister Sridhar Babu announced that the government was ready to discuss all issues including the liquor syndicates. But the TDP members were not satisfied with the assurance and continued sloganeering leading to pandemonium in the assembly. The helpless speaker, finally adjourned the house for tomorrow, Thursday.
