AP and TS governments gearing for final battle?

Andhra Pradesh and Telangana governments have been indulged in a serious battle over vote for note and the phone tapping issues. They both have their own strengths and weaknesses to defend themselves and to counter each other.

Telangana government possesses the audio and video recordings of Revanth Reddy’s conversation in Stephenson’s residence. It also collected his finger prints from the water glass served to him in his house. A phone call that Revanth Reddy received while at Stphenson’s residence is also establishing his location. The ACB officials may have collected some more crucial evidences to prove him guilty in this case. No surprise, if they try to drag Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to the courts as he is preparing for serious battle with them instead of succumbing to their power play.

Similarly, Andhra Pradesh government is claiming that total 120 phones including the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s phone was tapped by the Telangana ACB. It is gathering necessary evidences to prove its allegations. If it could prove its allegations are genuine, then it can fix the Telangana Chief Minister KCR with the phone tapping case. If fails to prove its allegations, then its situation may turn bad to worse for making false allegations. Releasing video clippings of sting operation to media without ACB’s knowledge, releasing audio tape of Chandrababu Naidu’s phone conversation with MLA Stephenson to media without ACB knowledge, Telangana Home Minister Nayini Narasimha Reddy’s announcement about it prior to media release etc. may helpful to the AP government to argue that the Telangana government has conspired against it.

However, Centre may take initiative to prevent any untoward incidents in both states, especially in the common capital where people of both states are living together.
