Holi and Diwali to be holidays in Pakistan

The Hindu population in Pakistan might have declined a lot in recent decades. But still, they form at least 2 percent of population in that country. Earlier, the Hindus in Pakistan used to enjoy holidays to celebrate Diwali and Holi. But after the emergence of military ruler Zia-ul-Haq, the holidays for minority festivals were sacked. Now! With a resolution that was passed in Pakistan parliament, the minorities over there could again celebrate their major festivals in vacation. As per the resolution passed by Ramesh Kumar Vankwani, an MP and a senior leader of the Pakistan Hindu Council... Diwali, Holi and Easter would now be declared as holidays.
