The Election Commission has released notification for by-elections to 18 vacant Assembly seats on Friday. According to this notification, by-polls would be held for 17 seats in andhra and one in telangana. As per the notification, nominations would be accepted till May 25.

Elections would be held to Emmiganuru, Allagadda,Rayadurgam,Kodur, Tirupati, Udayagiri, Ongole, Pattipadu, Narsapuram, Polavaram, Narsannapet, Macherla etc and Parakala in Telangana.
