Canvas crafts with Buttons

Painting on canvas is a difficult skill, i agree. An art piece on Canvas gives a finished look to our wall decor, and thats the reason most of us immediately think of Vanvas paintings or Art pieces when it comes to decorating walls. I have minimal expertise with Canvas paintings but i crave them alot, and so i have gone aboard on the web and found quite some ideas to create Canvas art pieces, a few using our Shirt buttons too.

They are easy to make, just buy a Canvas frame of any required size, make a light sketch using a light pencil, apply fevicol (Elmer's Glue All ) on the sketch and start sticking the Buttons of the desired sizes and colors....

Another option is to cover the Canvas with a printed cloth or Jute fabric, then either make a pencil sketch of a desired shape or design or start applying the buttons in haphazard shape. Here, choosing contrast colors for the base fabric and Buttons is the key for a perfect look.

We can also make this Buttons-Canvas art project a Kid craft idea and keep them busy for a while. Hang your ideas and treat your eyes !
