Arts-Crafts and their purpose

Kids arts and crafts projects can be so creative, anything and everything from the utensils amd kitchen accesories can be used to make one. Starting from juice straws, tissue papers, toothpicks, forks, macaroni pasta, noodles, crayons, etc ., can be used to kick off a new craft project. With the help of parents or teachers, under their supervision, using hair dryers, iron presses , many innovative art pieces can be thought of.

Based on age groups, a few science projects can be planned too. Elementary schools these days are actively teaching their young students quite good number of interesting science based facts...using balloons, soft balls and cardboard, they create solar systems...with few other materials, the facts behind volcanic erruptions, how caterpillars turn into butterflies, how rainbow forms, sound patterns using a set of straws...these are just examples i could recall. They also teach kids how to repurpose waste items and be responsible citizens. No doubt, children these days are exploring new arenas and learning about the world and life sciences at an early age...what i intend to convey is that arts and crafts are not just to keep kids busy, they have always helped them develop...there are still some parents who think crafty time is a waste,..infact,its time to realise that they are wrong!!
