Tawa Paneer Tikka Masala

 

 

 

When ever we step into a restaurant kids will be  tempted to order Paneer  Tikka masala. But we fear the calories and the price too. And if we want to make it @ home we are supposed to have a micro wave oven. If you don't have one at home then how?  So lets present you a healthy ,less oily and easy to make Tawa made Paneer tikka masala

 

Ingredients:
* Low fat Paneer 100gms - (cut into small square cubes)
* 1 Big Onion (cut into small square cubes)
* Capsicum red and green (cut into small square cubes)
* Oil to shallow fry tikkas
* Tooth picks
Marinating Mixture: 
* 1 Cup curd
* 1 spn Ginger garlic paste
* 1/4 spn Dhania powder
* 1/4 spn Zeera powder
* 1/2 spn Thandoori masala powder
* 1/2 Kashmiri Red chilli powder
* 1/2 Pepper Powder
* Pinch of Turmeric
* 1/2 spn Lemon juice

 

 

Method:
* Cut paneer onions and capsicum into equal square cubes so that they can be displayed uniformly 
* Take a bowl and put curd into it
* Add all the Marinating Ingredients into curd and beat the mixture to even texture
* Add the paneer, onion, and capsicum cubes into this marinating mixture
* Very gently mix it taking care not to break any of the pieces of paneer and vegetables.
* Refrigerate  the bowl of marinated paneer and other vegetables for 1 hour
* After one hour take it out. Take a shallow frying pan put a little oil and place the pieces one by one on it. and roast to crisp texture
* Once all the pieces are done, take tooth picks and put these crisp pieces one by one according to color.
* Serve either with green chutney or Tomato sauce
