T.Gopichand is established in the Telugu film industry and stands out for his action sequences in movies. Tottempudi Gopichand was born on 12th June 1982 in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India to T.Krishna, a movie director who passed away when he was eight years old. He moved to Russia to complete a course in engineering but turned to acting when his brother Premchand died in a car accident soon after he made his debut as a director. Gopichand trained in dialogue modulation and was also mentored by Kakarala. T.Gopichand’s movie was Tholi Valapu which was a flop. But he picked up speed by appearing in negative roles like Nijam (2003) and Varsham (2004). In Jayam (2003) which was a blockbuster, Gopichand played a thug in a love triangle with Jayam Ravi and Sadha as the lead pair. He started getting more positive and lead roles in movie like Yagnam (2004) and Ranam (2006) which did well. Okkadunnadu (2007) revolved around real estate and the mafia. Lakshyam (2007) was another major hit for him. The movie also starred Anushka and Jagatpati Babu. In Sauryam (2008) he played a brother looking for his sister whom he abandoned years earlier. This role again garnered a positive response from the audience.
