WEDDING SEASON AGAIN
People are getting ready to wed, attend weddings, celebrations....here are few tips if you are thinking to follow the contemporary trends for this Wedding season.
Famous this season are the combinations of lacy low-weight materials paired up with shiny, lustrous lining. Rich woven silky fabrics embellished with jewel toned opaque stones add to the festivity of the season.
Knits dressed up with metallic sequins and beads are doing the rounds. Feather and leather detailing is another hot favourite this Autumn-Winter. The silhouettes this season are sleek and structured – floor length kurtis/ gowns with variable hemlines and beautifully designed blouses.
The colours of the season are gold, purple fuchsia, emerald green, peacock, sapphire, crimson, pink carnation, dried rose, nude and silver grey.
Men have to let go of the blacks and greys for jewelled tones of sapphire, emerald, garnet, ruby and turquoise. Suits, shirts, trousers, bow ties or pocket squares in checks whether in classic or graphic prints are hot this season.
The don’ts:
A big no-no this season is volume – whether it is salwars, ghagras, dresses, gowns, trousers or even sleeves anything voluminous is out for both men and women. The sleek, slim look is in, and thats what the lacy, silky fabrics are for.
