DIY for Smooth Elbows

 

 

Scaly and rough elbows are perennial problems especially for women with dark skin tones .The dead cells tend to cause this condition apart from bending and leaning your elbows on flat surfaces. Just like any other part of the body the elbows also need a lot of care and moisturizing. Check out this simple process which can be done regularly to keep them smooth and bright.


->Start by bleaching your elbow depending on how dark the area is.

-> The next day you when you shower rub the loofah, pumice stone or a nice scrub in a circular motion and clean it.

-> After you dry the skin you need to apply a paste of baking soda with milk. Apply this paste on your elbow in circular motion and leave it for 10 minutes. Wash off with cold water, dry it and moisturize with a good lotion which has Shea butter in it.

-> Regularly scrubbing the elbow when you bathe will help keep the elbows soft and supple.

 -> Apply a good SPF cream on the elbows when you go out and this will prevent the elbows from getting dark.
