RRR Naatu Naatu created history by scoring OSCAR nomination

Director SS Rajamouli’s epic actioner RRR has scored a nomination in the Best Original Song category at the upcoming 95th Academy Awards, more popularly known as the Oscars.
Weeks after taking home the Golden Globe, the 'RRR' song 'Naatu Naatu' has been nominated for an Oscar in 2023 for Best Original Song.
In the Best Original Song category, RRR song “Naatu Naatu” is competing with “Applause” (Tell it Like a Woman), “Hold My Hand” (Top Gun: Maverick), “Lift Me Up” (Black Panther: Wakanda Forever), and “This is a Life” (Everything Everywhere All At Once.
On Golden Globes Red Carpet director SS Rajamouli said, If "Naatu Naatu" is nominated at the Oscars, he will use "all his powers of persuasion" to make a live performance happen with NTR and Ram Charan on Oscars Stage. And it's happened.
For which Ram Charan quickly replied, "He may not need to work that hard, I would absolutely do it." Imagining NTR and Ram Charan recreating iconic Naatu Naatu step on Oscars Stage is giving goosebumps. Everyone has to wait till March 24 to see if it happens or not.
The 'Naatu Naatu' song is composed by MM Keeravani and penned by Kala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj.
