Ponniyin Selvan Makers neglecting other languages

Pan-India cinema needs a significant amount of effort to succeed. Something should be done to make the audience of other languages feel like they own the film. To avoid the dubbing movie feeling, some attention should be taken with songs, dialogues, and nativity. Only then will moviegoers from different languages be able to empathise. The film makers of films such as 'Baahubali,' 'Pushpa,' 'RRR,' and 'KGF2' have taken tremendous care.

That is why those films have such a strong emotional effect on people. These films were particularly well received by audiences in the North. However, it must be stated that Tamil cinema makers are failing to gratify moviegoers from other languages. In Tamil, there is little hype surrounding the film 'Ponniyin Selvan,' which is being promoted as a 'Baahubali'-style film. So far, all of the promos and posters have focused on the Nativity.

Mani Ratnam and his team are unwilling to alter the name to accommodate other languages. From this film, a song named 'Ponge Nadhi' was recently released. Ananth Sriram wrote the Telugu lyrics. He wrote quite well. However, Rahman and another performer turned the song into a hoon. The entire song has a strong Tamil flavour. Furthermore, Rahman has been heavily chastised for mumbling Telugu words.

At the very least, you should sing with people who speak Telugu, or you should pay attention and practise your pronunciation. Aside from that, language lovers are wrong to criticize the song. If this is not addressed, there is concern about how the Telugu public would accept the film.
